Garage Sale Bust last weekend!

As some of you know, my husband and I have a love for going to garage sales. Yes, those no early bird posts in the newspaper are for us. We usually start looking for the goods at around 6:30 a.m. But instead of venturing off to see what good things we could find, we decided to have one of our own. It cost us $25 to put in paper, and we only made $50. Guess we make better buyers than salesman. No I really believe it was because of location, since our neighborhood is so new we are not on any of the maps, it was raining all day, and it was not a payday. As for the hot items, pocket knives and play guns.

Addie's #1 Birthday

What on earth is happening!!!

The look on her face says it all. For the past week Addie has slowly weaned herself off nursing during the day. It has been so funny not having to nurse her to sleep for nap times. I have found her sleeping in her walker or just on the floor. But of course night is a different story. I figure if she is not going to nurse during the day why not just wean her and save me from getting up four times in the night to nurse. We'll see I am not in a hurry, but I love the idea of the twins getting back to their normal size!

Thoughts

A dear friend of mine left this picture at my apartment door a few years ago when I was having a really hard time and it has gotten me through alot when I look at it. How can you look at this picture and not be comforted, with everything that is changing in this world it really makes me think. What hardships are going to come our way and am I going to be strong enough to push through them. It's becoming a scary world out there real fast and I can't help but think about the second coming. It's starting to sink in how happy I'll be when all the evil around us will be gone. While the the world keeps getting darker, it only makes me want to be better and protect my family and loved ones from it.
